Downing Street Memo darkens skies over White House

As the corporate media in the U.S. continues to ignore the Downing Street Memo recently revealed in the London Times, the potentially devastating condemnation of the Bush regime's deceptions behind the invasion of Iraq is gaining traction in Congress and in the independent media.. A petition drive in support of Rep. John Conyers move for a congressional investigation has also begun. Investigative journalist, Greg Palast has called the memo the smoking gun. Have the Washington neo-cons finally met their Waterloo? Will this be the Bush regime's Watergate? Or, will yet more evidence that the Administration is out of control be just another drop in the bucket for a seemingly disempowered, dysfunctional society?
