PNC Bank branch shut down by protest of MTR coal mining

On the 1st of December, the Earth Quaker Action Team and Climate First! shut down the branch of PNC Bank at Dupont Circle with a protest against PNC's investments in mountaintop removal coal mining. PNC bank is one of the top two investors in MTR mines as so many other banks have been driven out of funding this controversial and destructive practice.
